WS_FTP equivalent

OK, I need a new FTP program for switching to an intel-based macbook.

I've heard of transmitt and fetch(also heard how it transfers passwords in plain text and is not secure)

I want a FTP client program that is secure with ease of use and preferably aqua themed.

Cyberduck for a free client and Transmit for a Pay. Both are great.

Security level depends on the server you are connecting to. Cyberduck has to security connection types available. My hosting provider supports neither.

The terminal window - free with osx
Fetch - free
j-ftp - free (requires java)

I think the older versions were free, but the latest is $25 according to the site.

As Schweb probably knows by now, I am also a rather large fan of Transmit. That said though if you are broke and can't afford the $$$, CyberDuck works fine.
