Is there any way I can make my MBP ask me for my password every time I wake it up from sleep? It's just (perish the thought) if it got stolen while I was out I would hate for someone else to root through my mail, etc.
QUOTE Thanks

for what its worth there is a program that will allow you to lock/password protect applications/programs. Its $40 or so but it will allow you to get some extra protection when the computer is not sleeping.. Rather than set up a new user account you can just use this program and lock whatever app/program you dont want people messing with.. its called padlock. you can find it on www.versiontarcker.com or www.macupdate.com
