Hey all.. what is an aiff audio file?? I cant find my mp3s and my friends pc cant read aiff..

Mac Specs: Aluminium Macbook 2.4 Ghz 4GB RAM, SSD 24" Samsung Display, iPhone 4, iPad 2

Drag the aiff files into itunes, make sure 'mp3 encoder' is set for imports under itunes->preferences->advanced->importing and then right-click and hit 'convert to mp3'.

Aptmunich covered it well. Just though I would point out AIFF is like WAV on the PC in basics. Uncompressed. Like he said, use iTunes to convert to whatever you want.
