i need a digital audio recorder?

im looking to get one thats not to pricey for my lectures at school. i also want one compatible with mac os. so i was wondering if any of you had suggestions..

A couple of the Olympus ones will do Mac. They range in price greatly though. Check out their site I guess. http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_se...lrecorders.asp

hmm any other names other then olympus compatible with mac.. i just got my gf one that had a cd for only windows.. but it came with a usb cable and everything so it seemed sensible. it was a sony

You can get a voice recorder for an iPod. My 4th generation 20gig iPod had a recorder attatchment, it was about $20. You can record for hours and hours on the HD, its pretty decent quality.

yea but i have a 5g and that battery life is only 70 minutes. so it wont really work for my needs. i looked at the olympus but i only really have two options with them. i was wondering if any others are compatible with macs. i have been searching but i cant find anything really about os system compatibility.
