This is probably the most basic Q? known but its important.

When i use the mighty mouse whats the best surface for it? i don't really want to use it on my desk as my desk has got a slight texture.. would a basic mouse mat *cloth* work fine?

The beauty of optical mice is that they will work on just about anything - it'd even be fine on your desk. A cloth topped mouse mat would be fine for it.

Never looked at the bottom of yours?

The standard mighty mouse uses an optical sensor, the wireless one uses a laser sensor.

Mine was due for the 29th as well (im from UK) and due to be shipped on the 22nd. Then it was updated to shipped on the 28th delivery sometime in October.

However on saturday it was updated to shipped 23rd (the same day it was updated) and delivered 29th. And today it was updated to shipped 23rd and delivered today.

Well anyway I checked the TNT site and it said 'Please phone us about this delivery', well I did and its arrived at the UK depot, however its not meant to be delivered till the 27th (according to the box or something) but they might deliver it tomorrow.

Anyway I was wondering if the same had happened to you, if it has then they have one confusing shipping system
