Greetings from Alabama....I have placed an order for an imac...which should be here in a few more days...printer/scanner is already here...I have been using pc (windows os) since windows for work groups thru windows xp....I just got tired of upgrading and antivirus program problems....most of the research I have done...told me to go with the mac....I hope the imac comes with operation manuals....any urls or imformation on starting up would be great...thanks jhightower

Welcome to M-F!

Generally, switching to Apple is no brainer. It is a very intuitive operating system and takes a very little time to accustom. Here you will find a nice guide for new users.

apple should have a PDF on their site. just search your specific model.
you won't need it. you'll figure out over the week all the major differences and then, as i am, you'll start learning the little things.
