I am a current PC user and am fed up with the crappy life that comes along with PC's. I am interested in buying a MacBook but im not sure if they are going to update the Prossesors with the new Intel Chips. Also, have they fixed all the issues with the discoloring, mooing, and randow shutdowns?

Seeing that in the grand scheme of things... those issues were random, few and scattered overall... I would say yes, they have.

Cooling issues: resolved.
New processors tomorrow? No.
And Apple just got done with the core duo, they're not really planning on pushing new procs out so soon. It'll be earliest MWE Jan 2007.

I have had my Macbook Pro for 5 weeks now and love it.

At first, I hated some parts of it (like just small things that I liked with windows such as right clicking things, ext...)

I have grown out of it.

I love Mac Stability. I love the things BUILT IN. I love the Mac email.

I love the look and feel.

It's great.
