Ethernet Problem With New iMac

The new iMac arrived today. It recognizes the wirless connection, but when I try to plug it in to the ethernet, it will not get online. Any advice?

If you're using DHCP, from the router, make sure "Using DHCP on IPV4" is checked (see below), if not add the proper information. This screen is found in the System Preferences under Network-->Built-In Ethernet:
