I ordered a iMac 20" 2.0 Ghz, 512, 128 video 250 GB HD last week from the apple refurb store. Got the whole nine yards for $1399+tax. Now the really good part. When I fired it up I find that it has a 500 GB HD, 256 Video and 2 GB of ram. I almost fell out of my chair. So basically, I got a brand new iMac for $1399 + tax that would have cost me $2374. Savings was $975!!!!

Apparently it happens often enough. No guarantees of course, but the odds are pretty fair--from all I've read thus far. No science behind my statement though.
