The chances of find any prices that are significantly better than those on the Apple site are remote. You can check the "Special Deals" section of the online Apple store, or you can take advantage of the Education pricing if you qualify.

7.2% discount (at least here in Switzerland).

With my student discount, I saved $200 on my MBP right off, $10 on the upgrade to a 100GB 7200RPM drive, and $120 on AppleCare. So I saved about $330 dollars altogether.

the best deal on a macbook at the moment is Amazon.com, they have a $100 rebate and most states are tax free to ship to, unlike Apple.
