Any idea what the next highest iMac Duo top processor speed will be? By the time I have enough money saved, the next one might be out

I would guess at the least 2.3GHz for the low base model, then maybe 2.5GHz for an extra $200.

I wouldn't count on it. They are not 6 months old yet and while that might normally be a reasonable update cycle, you have to remember that the Intell transitions is still not complete. Apple still has 3 more machines to release, two of those being pro machines. I cant see them setting the walking into the old iBook vs. Powerbook dilemma. Add to that the fact that Intel doesn't have a Core Duo that fast yet.
