How can I tell...

...how much RAM I can cram into an older Mac?

I have a hand-me-down PB G3 with two 256 mb sticks. Will it take 512s? And somebobdy point me to a place that explains the nicknames... I think I have a wallstreet but really don't know what that entails other than, well, to borrow from bio 101, phenotype. :miner:

Many thanks!!

They state a max ram for all models, although I've found that sometimes those values are a bit conservative, it is a good general guide.
