Hey all, I've been reading here for awhile, but never posted. I figured since I've finally ordered my first Mac, I might as well register and begin contributing! I ordered a stock MBP 1.83GHz, which I'll be adding 1GB of RAM to from OWC (Other World Computing I believe). I've always loved the simplicity and functionality of OS X and figured since I was looking @ getting a new laptop soon anyway, might as well take the plunge! I've spent the past few months emulating OS X on my Windows based machine anyway through programs like WindowBlinds, ObjectBar, and things of the sort--It'll be great not having to pretend anymore.

If anyone has a list of apps they'd recommend getting, by all means, PM them to me or post them here!

Thanks all

Congrats on the purchase. You won't regret it.

Adium is a useful chat client and I like MS Office for mac. Otherwise I have not had much chance to play with other software yet.
