where did all my GB go? :S

when i choose "get info" on all my items on my backup HDD... OS X tells me that they take up 32,82 GB, and the backup HDD is 38,22 GB... however the desktop tells that backup HDD only has 388,1 MB left.... WTF? why does it do that?... and what can i do?

(yes im a switcher XD)

thanks in advance! :mac:
