photoshop cc problem

hi all
i need some help with photoshop cc
after i shoot a raw file, i then save as jpeg to the desktop, i then double click the picture on the desktop to open it and it appears with the photoshop framework!
all i want is the jpeg picture without the framework........
what am i doing wrong??

After saving the JPEG file to your desktop, right click on it and select "open with", then select "Preview". I'm not familiar with Photoshop and know nothing about how it opens a file but Preview will work the way you want.

that worked.... good news thank you
im now wondering how to get the measurement scale around the top and left side of my picture and also the percentage enlargement (normally displayed bottom left of picture) and also how to display the document size at the bottom of picture??
look forward to any replies......

Why even bother opening it? Why not just select the picture and tap the spacebar?
