Somehow or another BT of all people have got a popup advert which comes up every ten minutes or so on my Mac.There is no click here to stop it.I do not even use Bt for my phone nor broadband. I could handle a matter like this on my P.C.but I dont know how to do it on Mac. Mike

click on safari in the top left of the screen, then preferences from the drop down menu.

navigate to security and make sure the block pop ups box is ticked.

if that fails, download ad blocker https://extensions.apple.com

what have the Roman's ever done for us?

Just go with AdBlock.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
