proxy settings head hache

Hi all,
running maverix, with chrome as preferred browser it has happen that proxy settings are not taken, I mean, proxy is setup in network configuration but it looks like I browse the network without going trough this is happening since 2 days even before I upgrade to maverix.
proxy settings work with other pcs
please help.
