Command Not Found Pblm im Mac Terminal

Hi,

Till yesterday everything was fine..But when i opened terminal today morning and typed commands they are teeling like

-bash: java: command not found
-bash: sudo: command not found etc

I dont know what happened. Yesterday i changed envt variable..i dnt knw it is because of that..now i dnt know how to reset that because when i type

open -e.bash_profile

it shows,

-bash: open: command not found

pls help

Welcome to Mac-Forums..

Changing the PATH will definitely break things. Why were you doing that?

Type "echo $PATH" and tell us what it says..
