Will programs like mac janitor still be effective cleaning tools for OSX run under intel? I'm asking this because I have an intel imac and I want to know if it is ok to run a ppc cleanup tool under intel.

Thanks

Yes, the new Macs still uses the UNIX underbelly that makes OSX so stable, and that's all MacJanitor is, a bunch of shell scripts with a GUI wrapper.

So, yes, it should still work, albeit slower, if it's being emulated with Rosetta. Maybe they'll come out with a universal binary soon.

I try to Command+Shift+/ when I can.
