    Waiting for a mate . . .
    21" iMac 2.9Ghz 16GB RAM & 13"MBP 2.9Ghz i7 8GB RAM 10.10.3, iPhone5 & iPad Air 2 iOS 8.3, ATV3
What are you talking about ??
As a 12yr old, you are under your parents care, and being under your parents care, you as a 12yr old, ask nicely, "Mom, Dad can we as a family get a iMac please, as in the refurb store at there are some great bargains"

What do you mean "every 12 year old gets iMacs and you can't" ?? Has every 12 yr old have a iMac do they ??

I think that there are plenty of 12 year-olds in the world who do not have iMacs!

Lol I wonder mate if we are being trolled? Maybe the girls are better behaved and don't ask silly questions?
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

Yeah, life sucks when you have to start paying for stuff out of your own pocket.

But seriously: if your budget can't stretch to an iMac, have a look at the Mac mini (particularly the refurbished or lightly used recent models). Or if all else fails, an iPad mini with a keyboard case if your eyes are good. I hear ya on budget.
