USB 3.0 PCIE for snow leopard

i noticed that Lacie has a port that they claim works with snow leopard...
however i guess you only get 3.0 speeds with Lacie HDs (booo)

if possible,can anyone recommend a usb 3.0 PCIE card compatible with a...

Lots of stories of failures with USB3 PCIE cards, however you might like to try Sonnet. Not real cheap but might be best result:-

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

If you Google this you will see many have problems with USB3. Alas for you, most reports state Mountain Lion updated to OS X.8.2 is best and has drivers for USB3 PCIE cards.
