[/FONT]I am soon getting an iMac G3 and the one I am getting is an original edition or edition A and I might want to add upgrades. What should I do? Add upgrades or leave it as is?

Hmm not sure this needs a Poll but honestly, theatre isn't much you can do to upgrade a 14yr old G3.
You can upgrade the OS from OS8.5 to tiger OX X 10.4.11

Its a PPC and is unsupported now by Apple, so you will have to look else ware for parts and System disc's and the such.

G'day and welcome to the forums.

As Tattooed says PowerPC is like the dinosaurs ~ gone gone gone!

If the money runs to it get at least an Intel Core 2 Duo iMac.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
