Is there a way to change the screensaver/wallpaper of the side screen?

When you do the three-finger swipe (fingers moving to the right), there's the screen (which I call the side screen) with the dictionary, calculator, etc.
When I set a different picture as my desktop wallpaper, it initially didn't show up on my desktop. I did it again, and my desktop picture changed. When I moved to the side screen, the picture I had set as desktop picture was the background for that as well.
How do I change it back to the raised black dots image (the background it originally had)?

It's called the Dashboard. And yes, you can change the background. Here's the way to do it if you know what you are doing:
Change Dashboards Lego Background Wallpaper in Mac OS X Lion

Or let this app do it for you:
Download Lion Designer for Mac - Change the design of Launchpad, Dashboard, and Mission Control. MacUpdate.com

Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).
