What exactly do you intend to use the application for? Is it for drawing only or do you need a full desktop publishing application? Also, we're going to need some specs: Your Mac? Version of OS X?

OK, thanks for posting back the info. There are several apps that I can recommend: iWork Pages ($19.99) in layout mode does a very nice job with making flyers, brochures, banners, and so forth. It also comes with a large variety of templates.

There is also iStudio Publisher (which I use) for $17.99. It's an excellent light desktop publishing program very similar to MS Publisher. It does lack all the templates that iWork Pages comes with though.

You can find both of these apps in the Mac App Store.
