I have just acquired an iMac. I am trying to send emails through outlook express as i was used to this with Windows. I use it for my business and need to have a read/delivery receipt but can't see how to do this. Please advise!

Welcome to the Mac Forums.

There is no "Outlook Express" mail application on your iMac unless you're running Windows XP from a Boot Camp dual boot or from a virtual machine. And since Microsoft no longer provides OE as a mail and news application, I'm not sure what you're referring to? Tell us which mail application you're using on your iMac and we can go from there....

Just in case you were referring to Mac Mail and not Outlook Express, read through the following article on how to request a mail delivery receipt. LINK
