    1st gen Air
Hi I was just wondering if a 1st gen Air with 1.6ghz dual core is still good for today's Internet or is it slow and useless

    Specs:
    15" Macbook Pro 2.0Ghz i7 8GB AMD 6490M 256OCZ Vertex 4 SSD | iPhone 5S 16GB
That machine will still do almost anything you can ask it to do minus games of course but its still a great laptop, whats its current spec? RAM/HDD. Do you have the model number thats listed on the bottom?
I find the best way to locate rogue DHCP servers is to send 240V down the appropriate port. Follow the smoke.

It's exactly as useful now as the day it was purchased. It still runs the latest everything (and still has the same very slight limitations it had then).

To be fair if I saw a 1st Gen MBA at a good price with an SSD I'd probably snatch it right up

    Specs:
    2011 13" MBP 2.3ghz, 8gig ram, OS 10.8.5
To me the three main drawbacks of a 1st gen. MacBook Air are:

    - max. ram is 2gig
    - max. OS is 10.7.5
    - standard SSD is sort of small @64gig

But I would get one for the right price. It would be fine for internet & e-mail.
