Hi everyone...I just got my mac 2 months ago and could not figure out how to rename files and folders. Does MAC have an option to rename files because I have not been able to find it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

As an alternative, you can select the file (click once on the icon) and hit CMD+I and it will open the information dialog box for that file. You can then edit the name of the file in the information box.

Or you can Right Click (or Control Click) on the file and click Get Info and change the name there also.
