copy shortcut in hotmail on mac

Ok...I have another stupid question.

I keep trying to copy text in hotmail using the shortcut command+c, but it doesn't work?

it just highlights the categories tab at the top of the page!

Anyone no how to fix?

I think you need to turn off your Hotmail keyboard shortcuts. To do this:
Click on 'Options' (top right of screen on mine)
Select 'More Options'
Go to 'Customizing Hotmail' and select 'Keyboard shortcuts'
Select 'turn off keyboard shortcuts' and save.
