Ok, my question.

I have a current Timemachine backup as well as a CC clone of my MPB.

I want to do a clean install of Lion.

If I do the clean install will I be able to reinstall everything else back from either the TM or CC disks? Will my Parallels /W7 migrate without reactivating?

I would prefer the clean install over an upgrade but not at the expense of setting the machine all over again.

Thanks in advance

Time Machine is your best bet for restoring to a clean install of Lion. It's simplified even further as it's an option which can be run direct from the Recovery partition.

And yes, your Parallels VM of Win 7 will be restored. Since it will be restored to the same hardware, it should not have to be activated again.

Thanks so much...I'll give it a go.
