Hotmail -can't attach docs

It is not the Hotmail account because I can log in on our other computer, a PC, and I can attach files just fine. Any tips? |

MAC OSX Lion 10.7.3, 2.3 GHz, 4GB I can't attach any file from a few KB up to 0.7MB, and larger. I have been able to attach the exact files on my PC that wouldn't work on the MAC, so it doesn't appear to be a Hotmail issue. I saw in another thread that this could be related to Silverlight and the advice was to remove Silverlight. If I do so will it screw anything else up? It seems to me I was asked to update Silverlight in the past few weeks, attempted to do so, but but never got a message that the update had completed. Thanks for your help |

Also, the other way of using Hotmail from the Mail function also stopped working about the same time and I'm not receiving messages on it. When i used the PC I was using Internet Explorer. Thanks food the sleuthing |
