How do I truely uninstall XCode 2? I'm going to install the v2.2. I want a fresh install. Anyone?

Chuck it in the trash.

When you install v2.2 it will overwrite any file left lying around by the previous version (mainly libraries and system binaries) so you don't have to worry.

Personally I just install the new ones over the old ones unless Apple tells me otherwise, usually they do this with a warning during the install but you can visit the Apple developer site to double check what you need to clean up.

Mac Specs: 21in iMac core2 Duo- 13in macbook - 10.9 on both

If you're really worried about it look in /Developer/Tools/uninstall-devtools.pl
It's a script to uninstall the developer tools.
