so i have had my macbook pro for 3 months and my wifi is starting to act weird. while i am online it will be working fine and then it will act like there is no connection and it will not load a web page even though it says that wifi is on and is connected. i know it is not my modem because somebody will be playing xbox at the same time that this happens and they won't get kicked offline. sometimes it will start working again by itself and other times i have to turn the wifi off and then back on.
any help will be greatly appreciated |

This sounds to me like a Wi-Fi interference problem. Any 2.4GHz cordless phones nearby, or other routers using the same channel frequency?
(I'm assuming you're using the 2.4GHz band here, if you're N only you may want to see if you can switch the router to 5GHz only). |
