I have folders that contain book marks, is there a way to open multiple book marks from the bookmarks menu? I would like to be able to click on 3 or 4 or more bookmarks and have them all open before me, whether in tabs or pages in front of me. thanks. I am using Lion. tks. Dennis

It would be helpful if you told the forum members which browser you're using and what version of OS X you're running?

I don't think that is possible. I tried a few ways and all of them failed.

Yes you can open multiple bookmarks simultaneously, but not the way you describe. Here's what you do:

1. Go into the bookmarks view, make a new folder. Move that folder to "bookmarks bar." Let's say for this example that you'd like to have your four favourite news sites open up all at once.

2. Now drag bookmarks into this new folder from wherever else in your bookmarks they're stored. IOW, you end up with a folder called "news" (or whatever, best to keep it short though) in your Bookmarks Bar that has the four news sites you want to have open simultaneously.

Go back to your regular browser view, click on the folder "news" in your bookmarks bar. Scroll to the bottom and select "Open in Tabs" (always the last item).

All the sites in that folder will now open, each in their own tab, all at once.
