    new to mac since xmas......is there anything out there thats compatible with lion???????????????:

    27" i7 iMac. Intel Quad Core. 16 GB Ram.
    Plenty. As long as you are not trying to run Windows programs on it without having Windows installed via Bootcamp.

    Particularly for a switcher starting off fresh with no PPC applications!.
    Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
