which computer do i go with?
Configure - Apple Store (U.S.)

Refurbished MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - Apple Store (U.S.)

Important things: I'm looking to do music production on this laptop. The only differences i see between these computers is refurbished and one has a smaller hard drive. 250gb opposed to 500gb.
Is refurbished reccomended or risky?
Is 250 gb a big enough hard drive?
thanks in advance, hope to get an answer or two soon!

Hello Lucas

I am a new mac user and I've been told by many Mac-a-nites that Apple refurbished is a good deal and their warranty is great.

I personally would rather buy a brand new machine and spend the extra money.

If saving money will get you some extra software for music editing then go with the refurbished.

Good luck!

Newbie of the year 2011

Not making any comment on the specs of the two machines, but the fact that it is refurbished is no drawback. I recently purchased a refurb MacbookPro for my wife, and other than the box it was packed in there was NO way to tell it was refurbished.
