    Time Machine frequency
    Will time machine run every hour forever, or what? I would like to set it up to run weekly, but can't find any settings for that in "preferences".

    In other words, "on" means every hour, right? So there are two settings, on or off.

    Or you could try time machine editor if you want to schedule longer periods between backups. I've been using it now for over a year no issues, get it to back up once every 24 hours
