Okay, so far so good. I have my new iMac, sat in front of it now. I think I'm going to need some help.
The first thing I wanted to do was get my printer up and running. Job done, now worries. Next thing I want to do is get my 35mm film scanner up and running but it is confusing me a bit. The manual says that it is compatible with Mac OS X but when I go to the driver page here: Drivers & Downloads | Drivers & Downloads | Plustek It doesn't mention support for Mac OS X. However, if I go here: OS Compatibility | OS Compatibility | Plustek ....scroll down to my model, the Opticfilm 7600i and it says that it is compatible. Do I simply download and install the standard driver? Do I install it and then install the patch which is further down. Cheers Phil F Last edited by Tazzers; 12-03-2011 at 07:05 PM. Reason: I got the title horribly wrong. |

Actually, what the page (second link of yours) says is that for Lion (10.7) compatibility, you need to purchase a third-party program, Silverfast. The "link" on Plustek's page takes you directly to the demo download for Silverfast.
