    how to copy file that i download to my mac book air to external drive

    15" MBP, Core i7/2GHz, 8GB RAM, 480GB Crucial M500 SSD
    Connect the external hard drive. An icon for it will appear on the desktop. Open the hard drive icon. A new Finder window will open, showing the content of the hard drive. Drag and drop the needed file onto the window.
    Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
