iCloud and my calendar and my iMac

I for the life of me can't figure out why I can't get the two talk. Some of the dates show up...but most do not. My photos were also working great...theyn they stopped too....help!

In iCal, did you turn on the iCloud calendar(s)? Click on the drop down list of calendars.

I can't seem to find that in iCal.... I see the drop down which has my events from outlook...but iCloud isn't an option

Found it!! had to actually add the iCloud calendar in prefs...
