I downloaded Adobe Acrobat, but don't like it that much. When I right-click on files and select Preview as my default viewer, nothing happens. Stuff still opens in Adobe by default, and bears the Adobe icon. How can I change this?

Right click on a PDF and select get info

One of the options will be Open with

From the drop down select preview from the application listed

Click the change all button and that will be the default app for .pdf files
