alert msg??

is this bad??

Another device on the network is using your computer’s IP address (192.168.1.2).
says i might need to change my ip address. no idea what that even means.

Tell us more about your network. Do you have a router? If so is it set to hand out IP Address's Via DHCP? Are all the computers and devices set to get an IP DHCP?

I'm new to all of this and i have no idea what any of that means but yes i do have a router.
