Read the whole post. You have a mini displayport and using a composite connection, so you'll want to read items 1B & 2 in particular. Disregard looking at post # 15, it doesn't apply to you. Yes you will need the adapter in 1B and the converter in #2. I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
