Audio missing from Quicktime files in iMovie?

When i import Quicktime files in to iMovie HD the audio has seemed to disappear. I extract the audio content but the actual sound wave is not visable. when i play the quicktime files just in quicktime they are fine, and you can hear the audio...any one know whats wrong?.im using iMovie HD and Quicktime 7.0.0

You can try upgrading to QuickTime 7.0.2
