    Hi

I have a MBP and Mac Mini - both running Lion - how is best to sync the two together (librarys, ical, contacts etc)

    thanks

(my wife and I are also running 2 iPHones from the macmini)

By libraries im guessing you mean music, photos etc.?
You could turn on file sharing on these folders and set up autocopying perhaps.
Calendars- make them public then add them to each ical.
Contacts- not quite sure how to handle this one.

That said- iCloud when it launches will take care of most of these (iCal, contacts, email)
Music not so much and for photos only ones that are taken on an iOS device.

It likely will be when it launches. Some of the features are active right now- mainly the apps, music, and book downloads across all your iOS devices. When iOS5 comes out in the fall the rest of the features will go live. However the remaining question right now is iCloud will back up emails- it seems to be contingent on creating an @me.com account. Though from the way it sounds right now I think I'll be sticking to my gmail account. Only time will tell though.
