I have created a PDF file using a Windows 2000 PC, it uses the font Verdana.
But when I send this PDF to an Apple Mac computer and open it there, all the letters on the PDF and now changed into little square boxes and I can't read the file. I'm using Acrobat Reader on the Apple Mac. |

have you tried to open it in preview ? ... if that fails, maybe you just need to install the font.

I tried sending the same thing in Word and the Boxes still appeared, I also tried changing the font to Courier, Times, Arial, basically all the fonts on my list, all with the same results. |

how are you sending the PDF? it sounds like its corrupting. All the fonts you mentioned are default fonts in all office/os packages

Since you are having trouble with creating the PDF on the Windows machine...have you tried creating the PDF using the Mac instead? __________________________________________________ Posting and YOU|Forum Community Guidelines|The Apple Product Cycle|Forum Courtesy mac: a waterproof raincoat made of rubberized fabric MAC: a data communication protocol sub-layer, also known as the Media Access Control Mac: a brand name which covers several lines of personal computers designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc.
