Switcher Hangout The place for switchers to discuss their new machines, and how to work with OS X. General support can be had here for newbie stuff, like "How do I restart my new iMac?" :)

A reason to switch: Microsoft's Internet Explorer is for stupid people... No, really!

I felt like I've lost 10 IQ points when IE popped up a window to offer me a tour of what's new. Then if I click 'OK' on it I would lose another 20 IQ pts for doing so. So yeah.. not surprising.

I think to say that this is likely a spurious relationship would be an understatement (I knew my statistics courses and TA work would come in handy one day!). Browser choice is a product of technical/computer proficiency and not intelligence. Although, for the sake of making a point, notice that Opera is included in the list of browsers that, "individuals with a higher IQ score use." I could have told you that before.
