I can search the app store for iPad/iPhone apps. How do I do the same thing if I do not yet have a MBA? I would like to see how many of the apps I use on the iPad are available on a MAC.

Thanks

The Mac App Store is NOT the same store as the iOS App Store. Start Here: Apple - App Store - Buy, download, and install apps made for Mac.

MBP 17" 2011, 2.3GHz Intel Quad-Core i7, 8GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1GB RAM
MacMini 2011, 2.7GHz Intel Dual-Core i7, 8GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6630M 256MB RAM
iPhone 5S 64GB, iPad Gen3 32GB WiFi, iPod Nano Gen6 8GB, Apple TV 3 & 2

Thanks. I have been going around in circles trying to find a way to browse or search without success. I am using IE, maybe the Mac Apple Store won't let me browse for apps unless I am using a Mac?

I'll try going there on my iPad browser later.

You might have to use Safari or Chrome. Probably not IE compatible.

I found a link I can use with IE:

Finance - Mac App Store Downloads on iTunes

However, it does not let me do a search.

Use Safari, Chrome, or Firefox. However you have to use the Mac App Store to download and install them. When you use that, it doesn't matter what browser you have.
