can't open the camera

i have a Macbook. when i open photo booth the camera can't open , but when i webcam for example skype-ing (video call) the camera can open ... i need someone to help me .. please .. thank you

Not sure what you mean by open ... activate maybe?

Anyway, the camera can only be in use with one app at a time. So if Photo Booth is saying you can't use the camera because it's already in use, the first thing I'd ask myself is "did I *actually properly quit* iChat or Skype or any other app that uses the camera?"

That usually solves the problem.
