SPECK makes some very nice snap-on, 2-pc semi-transparent cases for both the Mac Book and the Mac Book Pro in both 13" and 15" sizes. They come in various colors and can be found at most Apple stores. They can also be found a Newegg.com - Computer Parts, Laptops, Electronics, HDTVs, Digital Cameras and More!
I have one of my Mac that I'm using right now and have been very happy with it. Mine is a dark red in color and it really makes the lighted Apple stand out when I use it. But what color are real apples? I know how you feel about scratches. This is why I installed mine the very day I brought it home. Good luck!! Russ |

I got the Speck case too. Works very well. Dropped my laptop on a plane from the overhead - cracked the Speck, not the laptop. Bought a second Speck to replace the cracked Speck.
Depends on what look you want to go for if you go with Satin or clear. I got the dark satin for mine - it makes it look like the black Macbook. If you like the look of the Aluminum, go with the clear, otherwise the Satin gives you more color choices. |
