I use the ftp command through the terminal, but im the minority i guess. Otherwise i think the finder may have an ftp client built in, but I dont think it works properly in jaguar, but may be fixed in panther.

I also use ftp from the command line. But when there are times that I don't want to deal with it, or sometimes things just have to be done GUI style, I use CaptainFTP. Their site is nifty too!

Yeah I use Fetch also, but it has problems every so often, otherwise it works great. One complaint about most FTP programs is that they do not have server to server transfers.. Fetch pretends to have it, but it always hangs when I try to use it.

Yeah...I just use Fetch so I can access my home directory on my college's network.

ive used fetch for years... but now I use transmit.

but I may go back to fetch. Transmit, while it looks nicer and has more features, transfers files MUCH slower than fetch ive noticed...

anyone else notice that?

I use Transmit and I love it. CuteFTP also just released a Mac version recently althought I haven't tried it. But the Windows version was very good.

Yeah so far I havent found anything better than Fetch yet.. I keep trying others, but they just don't compare at this point.. and I am really really trying to like something else better since Fetch just never releases any upgrades! And until I find one that I like better or at least the same.. Ill have to stick with Fetch.
